Description

Instructor: Susan Rozmiarek

Computer games are a fun way to relax, escape and exercise our brains! They can even provide a way to connect with
others. In this course, we will explore some early computer games to experience firsthand how much they have changed
over past decades to evolve into our favorite games. We will look at how the Internet and cellphones have changed the
way we play and peak at the future of gaming. Students will get to peek behind the scenes of an actual Austin computer
game company and see what goes into making an online computer game. Throughout the course, students and volunteers
will be encouraged to share and discuss their favorite games with classmates and UT student volunteers. NO CLASS THANKSGIVING WEEK
